I know. He looks a little dead.
But he’s just sleeping (or kitteh meditating) with his eyes wide open… and in one of those positions that makes LOLcat owners everywhere ask “how can that possibly be comfortable?“

Yeah, I know - he looks likes he’s taking a drink from my tall glass of water. And it wouldn’t be the first time that he did so.
But this time… well, this time he was just looking for a place to rest his big fluffy ears. Yes, he’s sound asleep.

It is always happens when you’re home.
Alone.
Maybe you’re already a little spooked because your house is old and creaks. Maybe you received a phonecall from a heavy breather and that left you unnerved. Maybe you live in a stone castle on the top of a hill and there is a lightning storm… and your ancient butler is just plain creepy.
Or maybe your LOLcat is acting perfectly normal when he suddenly freezes, stares at a spot in space and appears to communicate with the dead.

Yeah, yeah… Jack’s too sexy for his fur, too sexy for his fur, is gonna make you purr…
*sigh* now I’m stuck with that song in my head for the rest of the day.

LOLcat Falls in 3… 2…1 |

I think I had Jack for a sum total of three days before we made our first trip to the emergency vet.
From across the room, I watched Jack attempt to jump from a bookshelf (not allowed) to the back of a chair. The back of the chair was about an inch wide.
Not surprisingly, Jack missed.
And managed to land on the edge of an industrial strength metal dustpan… and separate a joint in his back right leg.
Fortunately, the emergency vet felt that Jack was young enough that he would he heal up without any kind of intervention other than drugs to keep him calm and inactive. Those three days of meds, were the only three days in Jack’s life that he has been calm. But, his leg healed just fine.
And he learned absolutely nothing from the experience — he is, afterall, a LOLcat.
