Now Hear Me, Can You?

Crikey, it’s a four-eared cat.

No, this kitty (named Yoda) wasn’t found in the woods of Georgia and then stuffed in a freezer, he was found in a bar in Chicago and adopted by Valerie and Ted Rock.

‘Yoda’s hearing is normal as far as we know,’ says Valerie. ‘People do a double take when they see him or his picture. It is great fun showing him off.

I’m sure it is… did I mention that it’s a cat with four ears?

The Teal Table Smackdown

Posted August 11, 2008 by: sophie

(This post is a continuation of the story that begins here.)

In the continuing story of Jack’s love affair with the Teal Table and his not-so-secret hiding place, we now arrive at that moment every kitteh photographer faces, when kitteh is getting tired of the picture taking.

As you may recall, when Jack is in the teal table drawer, I can’t pose a shot, I just sort of cram my camera between the wall and the teal table and start clicking. On the day of this shot, I positioned the camera and clicked.  There wasn’t the usual scrabbling of “leef mi aloan“, so I thought he was perhaps asleep.  I clicked again.  Same thing.

And then I pushed my luck. I clicked once again and one swift smack from Jack knocked my camera to the floor. That last picture was nothing but a blur of orange fur and claws, but the previous picture (shown below) demonstrated that Jack was smackdown ready.

Cat Eats with Fork Video

Crazy Cat With Fork

Yes, it is what it sounds like. Someone has trained a cat to eat with a fork. And chopsticks. And a spork.

How does one train a cat to eat with a fork? An excellent question. However, the owner/trainer says her training methods are a “family secret”.

Am I the only one left wondering if the family secret involves duct tape?
